The Arbor Day Foundation Honors Cornelia with Tree City USA Recognition, Growth Award

Cornelia was recognized as a Tree City USA community for its commitment to urban forestry.

 

It is our 20th year of national recognition!

 

Cornelia also received the Growth Award for demonstrating progress in our community forestry program in the following areas:  Partnership, Tree Plantings on private property, Tree Planting & Mainenance & Recycling.

The Building & Grounds employees take pride in keeping the City of Cornelia looking great.  We use environmentally friendly policies to ensure we are doing the best for both the citizens and our environment.
