The Cornelia Fire Department is an ISO class-four department nestled in the Piedmont Region of northeast Georgia Mountains. We serve a community of about 4000 residents. We currently have eleven full time fire fighters consisting of a Fire Chief, Assistant Chief, Captain, two lieutenants, and six firefighters with one serving as Fire Marshal and one assisting in records and information management.
