1.1: COMPETITIVE COST SEALED BIDS
Sealed bids for construction of the FY 2018 CDBG will be received until August 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm local time at Cornelia City Hall, 181 Larkin Street, Cornelia, GA 30531, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically may be provided in the Instructions to Bidders and/or by State law.
1.2: SCOPE OF WORK
The work to be completed shall consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install approximately 5,000 LF of 8″ PVC Sewer, thirty-one (31) manholes, 600 LF of storm pipe, 60 LF box culvert, 1,1000 LF of sidewalk complete with sewer laterals, cleanouts, bypass pumping, roadway replacement, earthwork, grassing, soil erosion and sediment control measures, and appurtenances necessary to provide a complete installation.
