Little Chenocetah Water Tank Decommissioning – Request For Proposal
The City of Cornelia (“Owner”) is requesting proposals to select a qualified company (“Contractor” or “Proposer”) to demolish a ground water storage tank that is being decommissioned. The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit pricing and qualifications from qualified companies interested in and experienced in providing the services requested herein that can complete the work. Funding for this project will be provided through local funds and therefore no additional State or Federal requirements will be applicable.
SCOPE OF WORK
The work to be completed shall consist of all labor, equipment, and materials required to demolish a 28’ diameter and 89’ tall 400,000-gallon riveted standpipe ground water storage tank in Cornelia, GA, complete with disposal of materials, clean-up, and all necessary appurtenances for a complete demolition.
Time allotted for completion of work is 30 calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract.
Sealed proposals will be received until Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Carter & Sloope, Inc., Attn. Kenny Miller, email@example.com. One (1) original electronic copy in PDF format shall be submitted.
Requests for Information (RFI’s) shall be submitted in writing via email to Kenny Miller, P.E. at firstname.lastname@example.org. RFI’s will be accepted until 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
Proposals will be evaluated by the OWNER and ENGINEER based on cost (75%) and method/approach (25%). Any Proponent submitting shall have a minimum of five (5) installations equal to or greater in size specified herein, each with a minimum time in operation of two (2) years.
